Ski Resorts Opening This Weekend

How’s that global warming workin out for ya? Many ski resorts are opening the first week of October, a new record for earliest opening for some.

The Loveland ski area opened Wednesday, Arapahoe Basin on Friday, “boasting its earliest opening day in 40 years.” Loveland officials today announced the area will open for skiing today. Other ski resorts are opening, too, and some Idaho school kids enjoyed an early snow day.  Better get that cap and trade passed fast, Bamster! It’s getting cold out there!
