And so am I! Where is the rest of the GOP?

Yes, I know there’s a big uproar over a few scribbled words on Sarah’s hand. But ferchrissakes people, a couple of words on a hand to remind you of a topic hardly stands up to what our “dear leader” does with his teleprompter.
Anyway, there is proof that Barack Hussein Obama uses the same system.
Sarah’s palm pilot.
And the message on BHO’s hand…
Yeah, who has the brains?

But don’t get too excited, tickets sold out in three hours. What is left at the other outlets mentioned are for radio contests, promotions and such.

Sarah Palin is coming to Redding in February, and tickets were first being sold on Monday. Halfway through the day, the Redding Convention Center sold out of all of their tickets they had.
The other ticket outlets also had quick-moving ticket sales, but still had tickets available. Redding Radio, KLXR, and Northern Lights Energy still had tickets as of 12 PM on Monday.
The date of the speech is scheduled to be February 8th.
Excerpts from an upcoming documentary by John Ziegler via the great new site Big Hollywood.
If someone told me five months ago that in early January I would pay over $1,400 for an incredibly inconvenient plane ticket and $120 for a 3 a.m. cab fare to get from sunny Los Angeles to Wasilla, Alaska, I would have told them there was a better chance the Dow Jones would be below 9,000 and a gallon of gas less than two dollars.
If they would have told me I’d be glad to have made the journey (even with a seven-hour, weather-aided stop in Seattle), I would have told them Sarah Palin had a better chance to be John McCain’s running-mate. Of course, as we all now know this turned out to be true. And even though I still have the flu I got just before the trip, I’m thrilled to have experienced minus-eleven degrees in Alaska.
Obviously, I was there to interview Governor Palin for my forthcoming documentary about the media coverage of election 2008. My understanding is that the only reason Governor Palin did this interview (while rejecting hundreds of other requests) is because of her sincere devotion to setting the record straight on what really happened during the campaign and to determine why the news coverage was as dangerously slanted as it so clearly was.
Largely because of absurd claims by Democrats that she was violating ethics rules by answering campaign questions on state grounds (one of several ways in which the Democrats in Alaska, who used to love her, are now fully invested in the “take Sarah Palin down” industry), we did the interview at the Palin home. At 9 a.m., without a security guard or handler in sight, Bristol Palin, eight days removed from giving birth, politely answered the door and Governor Palin, not yet fully put together, rushed out to tell myself and my crew to make ourselves at home.
Be sure to check out the comments at the end of the article. The liberal attack dogs are still out there, and they are scared.

Ah Haa! I new it all along. The Saracuda is more admired than the ogre that refused to interview her.
By The Way. Congratulations Grandma Sarah. Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, 7lbs-7ozs, was born to Sarah and Todd’s oldest daughter, Bristol, and her longtime boyfriend Levi Johnston. The couple will marry this year.
Word came this weekend that a new USA Today – Gallup Poll found the 44-year-old Palin, a mother of five, is the nation’s second most-admired woman, behind only Hillary Clinton and ahead of someone named Oprah Winfrey.
She’s going to surprise quite a few people when the Lame Stream Media get their asses handed to them and someone finally starts telling the truth. The “I can see Russia” line is attributed to Sarah on such a regular basis that most actually think she said it. (Tina Fey said it)
But you must look at this statement from the same article.
President-elect Barack Obama dethroned President George W. Bush as the nation’s most-admired man this year in spectacular fashion. Bush topped the most admired man list in 2007 with a 10 percent showing, his seventh straight year on top. He reached as high as 39 percent shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. This month, however, he sank to 5 percent to finish a distant second to his successor.
For SEVEN YEARS while the world was tearing him down, George Walker Bush was still the most admired man in the nation. Only when “The One” was crowned PEBO was GWB dethroned. And he still finished second! Why haven’t we heard about this? That, of course, is a rhetorical question.
Yeah, that’s photoshopped. But I’ll bet he’d like to.

He sounds like a great kid. He hunts, he fishes, he’s great at sports and he drives a Chevy Silverado pickup truck. (4×4 I’m assuming) He’s also marrying his high school sweetheart. What’s not to like? Well, this is a brand new story, I’m sure the hate driven liberals and democrats will enlighten us.
WASILLA, Alaska – Levi Johnston, who’s having a baby with Gov. Sarah Palin’s daughter, can’t believe all the things he’s hearing. No, he wasn’t held against his will on the campaign trail. No, he’s not being forced into a shotgun wedding with 17-year-old Bristol Palin.
“None of that’s true,” Johnston, 18, said in a rare interview with The Associated Press. “We both love each other. We both want to marry each other. And that’s what we are going to do.”
Standing in the driveway of his family home in this small Alaska town, Johnston spoke about the rumors swirling around him.
The soft-spoken teenager discussed his relationship with Palin and how life has changed with fatherhood fast approaching. He agreed to talk despite the presidential campaign‘s advice in the days following Gov. Sarah Palin’s nomination to avoid the media.
“They’re not telling me anything right now,” Johnston said as he checked his Blackberry. “It’s pretty chill.”
Not surprisingly, Johnston was a little shocked when he learned about Bristol’s pregnancy, but he says he quickly embraced the prospects of fatherhood. The baby is due Dec. 18. Johnston has dropped out of high school to take a job on the North Slope oil fields as an apprentice electrician.
There’s no word on how his future mother-in-law feels about Johnston’s decision to drop out of high school. Last year, she made a point of trying to turn around the high dropout rate in their hometown.
“I’d remind the kids that no matter where they are in life — (maybe) in circumstances that probably aren’t ideal — that there is no circumstance that they’re in that is insurmountable or would necessitate them just giving up,” Palin said.
Johnston hinted he’s expecting a boy, but he declined to discuss baby names.
“I’m looking forward to having him,” he said. “I’m going to take him hunting and fishing. He’ll be everywhere with me.”
Johnston, a Wasilla heartthrob, said he wanted to set the record straight.
For starters, he said his much-maligned MySpace page was a joke — the one that claimed he said: “I’m a … redneck,” and “I don’t want kids.” Johnston said his friends created the page a few years ago and he had nothing to do with it.
Johnston said he has dated Palin since his freshman year in high school.
“We were planning on getting married a long time ago with or without the kid,” he said. “That was the plan from the start.”
While Johnston provided few details about next summer’s wedding, the planning has started: A cousin will likely be his best man, and he has asked two hockey buddies, Ben Barber and Dane Wilson, to be groomsmen.
Barber doesn’t think anyone pressured Johnston into marriage.
“If he thought it wasn’t the right thing to do he probably wouldn’t do it,” he said.
Johnston is an avid hunter. He’s dark haired, tall and muscular, sports a bit of stubble and drives a red Chevy Silverado truck. He’d be the perfect cover for Field & Stream.
He’s bagged bears, sheep, elk, and caribou. Some of the antlers are scattered about his yard. Last July on a caribou hunt he lost a “promise” ring that Palin had given him. He said he decided to tattoo her name on the finger and not bother with more rings because he’d just lose them anyway.
Johnston said he wasn’t forced to campaign with Palin’s mother. Bristol Palin invited him and Johnston jumped at the chance. It was a whirlwind experience for Johnston, who was seated with the Palins at the Republican National Convention.
“At first, I was nervous,” he said. “Then I was like, ‘Whatever.’”
While Barber said his friend is a celebrity now, Johnston said it hasn’t changed him.
“I’m still the same old boy,” said Johnston. “I’m just a workin’ man.”
And now he’s also about to become a family man.
“We’re up for it. I’m excited to have my first kid. It’s going to be a lot of hard work but we can handle it.”
Wasilla hockey coach Bill Sturdevant, who was invited to the wedding, said he was sorry to hear Johnston wasn’t going to return for his senior year of high school. But he said he believes Johnston, a talented hockey player, will find his way.
“He’s a tough kid,” Sturdevant said. “He’s taking everything in stride.”
What about Johnston’s politics?
The young man said he wasn’t an expert on politics by any stretch. Asked about Barack Obama, he replied: “I don’t know anything about him. He seems like a good guy. I like him.”
Johnston didn’t register in time to vote, according to the Mat-Su Division of Elections Office in Wasilla. But he’s still rooting for John McCain and Sarah Palin.
“I just hope she wins,” he said. “She’s my future mother-in-law. She better win.”

From Thanks to Palin: SHOCKING: Democratic Ethics Probe Says Palin Abused Her Power
Now THAT’s a laugh. And it’s democratic socialists – led “ethics” probe; or just merely DemocratIC. There is something seriously wrong with people searching for ethics when they have none of their own. What they’re looking through is a socialist prism, Alinsky-style. This is where they hold Republicans to their own standards; with the intent of removing them as political opponents; even if the charges are false. It’s a complete double-standard; since Obama’s own “ethics” problems are surfacing en masse.
But, they admitted that she did NOT fire Monegan for his refusal to dismiss Mike Wooten, a state tooper. Instead, they say she abused her power by refusing to stop her husband from using state resources to encourage the firing of Wooten.
Actually, Monegan was offered another position, which he turned down. How that should come back at Palin implicating the problems with Wooten is completely baffling. Wooten was Palin’s former brother-in-law who’d threatened to kill Palin’s father, was stalking her sister, had a history of getting drunk on the job and even drinking in his patrol car.

The man does have a way with words.
When John McCain selected Governor Sarah Palin, as his running mate, the Democrats and their far-left constituency let out a primal scream that could be heard from sea to shining sea. How dare he choose someone that they and their pals in the media had not had a chance to vet (i.e. libel, slander, and otherwise and otherwise eviscerate). Ah, but it was not too late. These seekers of “a new kind of politics” poured torrents of malicious abuse upon her and her family.
Plane loads of scandal mongers, lawyers and other truth seekers became more numerous in Alaska than the polar bear, as they rallied local Democrats and disgruntled Republicans to their cause.
Here was a woman who chose to have children and a career. Aging Washington socialites weighed in with newly discovered sensitivity for mothers with careers outside the home. Here was a woman who became upset because her ex-brother-in-law had tasered her nephew and threatened her father. The Democrats and their friends had to save the country from a woman like this.
Governor Palin’s every comment was scrutinized by the media and judged against what Jefferson or Lincoln might have said. Never mind that her counterpart, the 30-year-Washington-veteran Joe Biden, apparently is unaware that America relies upon coal for a lot of it’s electricity or that he recently referred to a top level U.S. official’s visit to Iran that never happened. That’s just Joe being Joe – protected by the sheer number of his gaffes and the fact that he is Barack Obama’s running mate.
For a while there it seems the fact that so many uninformed yahoos (average people) love her was going to drive the main stream media nuts. They had a hard time grasping the fact that people like her because she is precisely the kind of politician that everyone has been saying they’ve wanted: Independent, not a captive of the Beltway including a Congress with a 9% approval rating, who will take on hacks of either party; who has the tenacity to win and the courage to fight for the long-term benefit of those she represents.
Apparently what no one counted on was that a politician like this would actually show up on the national scene. The media was caught by surprise. The media doesn’t like surprises.
Naturally, there was a backlash to the treatment of Governor Palin and cooler-headed critics have largely concentrated on what they claim is her lack of qualifications. Of course much of the criticism of her qualifications reveals the application of the same old double standard. Less accomplished governors in times past have been considered to be perfectly “well-qualified” as VP picks.

Not Likely. They don’t even hide their bias anymore. From Human Events.
Whether or not this may be the “Age of Obama,” no one who has a financial interest in the outcome of the election — as does PBS’ Gwen Ifill — should be permitted to moderate any debate in the campaign season.
Ifill, who is scheduled to moderate the important debate tomorrow night between Republican Sarah Palin and Democrat Joe Biden, has a conflict of interest that, by even the most rudimentary ethical standards of journalism, must preclude her from moderating or even reporting on the debate.
Ifill is the author of “The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama,” a new book scheduled for release on Inauguration Day. Its Amazon.com promotional statement says, “In ‘The Breakthrough,’ veteran journalist Gwen Ifill surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obama’s stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians forging a bold new path to political power.”
We are used to liberal bias in the media, and it’s questionable if PBS can even find among its journalists someone who approaches an unbiased point of view. Nevertheless, Ifill has a financial interest in the outcome of the election. If Obama wins, she wins greater book sales and thus greater income from royalties. This, by any standard, is a disqualifying conflict of interest.
Ifill must be removed from the moderator’s slot — today — and replaced by someone who at the very least does not have a financial interest in the outcome of tomorrow night’s debate.
But I’m betting she will do just fine even with the media against her. Go Saracuda!!

I’ll give you one guess. It’s a 10 minute video but well worth your time. Use the pause if you need to, it moves pretty fast.
The original video has been banned. Some reworking has produced this replacement. Just as good as the original.
And Dingy Harry is pissed at Mccain for ruining his party. The $700 billion welfare bill was supposed to be signed and done before anyone knew what was in it. Actually it was the conservative side of the GOP that stepped back and said let’s take a look at some options, but the facts have never stopped Dingy.
REID: The insertion of presidential politics has not been helpful. I repeat. The insertion of presidential politics has not been helpful. It’s been harmful. A few days ago I called on Senator McCain to take a stand, let us know where he stands on the issue, on this bailout. But all he has done is stand in front of the cameras.
We have Senator Bennett, who is a high-ranking Republican senator, standing before all of you saying we’ve got a deal in principle. All we have to do is put it down in writing and this — this is almost over with. And then, guess who came to town? And that completely fell apart. The vehicle came off the tracks. Now, the Republican House has to decide what they want to do. Are they serious about one of the issues that has to be taken care of, is lowering the capital gains tax? Is that part of what this is all about? They’re going to have to become realistic.
I don’t care who stopped it. You don’t just sign up to take $700 billion from the public to fix something you’ve created without looking at it a little closer. If he wants to give McCain the credit, so be it.
El Rushbo covers this in detail.

This comes from NewsBusters. Every time I think the left can’t get any more desperate, they surprise me.
Did you know that Sarah Palin has never been to Mongolia? Yeah, and despite the fact she never claimed to have visited there, we are making a big deal about it because of the impression she left only in our fervid imaginations that she did indeed visit Mongolia.
Think that was ridiculous? Well, guess what? That is exactly what CNN is doing with a manufactured scandal that Sarah Palin never visited Iraq. The problem for CNN is that Palin never claimed to have visited Iraq. Here is her answer in the recent ABC interview with Charles Gibson about her foreign travel:
Canada. Mexico. And then, yeah, that trip that was a trip of a lifetime, to visit our troops in Kuwait and stop and visit our injured soldiers in Germany. That was a trip of a lifetime and it changed my life.
So where was Iraq in her answer about foreign travel? Nowhere. However, that hasn’t stopped CNN from acting outraged about the fact that Palin never visited Iraq despite the fact that she never claimed to have visited there:
CNN) — Sarah Palin did not visit troops in Iraq, a spokesperson for the Republican vice presidential nominee confirmed Saturday, as new details emerged about the extent of the Alaska governor’s foreign travel.
All CNN had to do was listen to Palin’s answer to the question about her foreign travel to find out she never claimed to have visited Iraq. However, CNN is somehow making this out to be a some sort of big scandal as you can see:
In July of last year, Palin left North America for the first time to visit Alaskan troops stationed in Kuwait. Palin officials originally said her itinerary included U.S. military installations or outposts in Germany and Kuwait, and that she had visited Ireland.
Right. No Iraq. Got it, CNN? However, they just can’t let go:
A Palin aide in Alaska said Iraq was also one of the stops on that trip.
Oh, I see. A nameless Palin aid in Alaska mistakenly said Iraq was one of her stops. Stop the election! Bring out the special prosecutor! This scandal must not go uninvestigated! Meanwhile CNN continues to sniff for a scandal that doesn’t exist:
The Boston Globe reported Saturday that Palin visited the Iraqi side of a border crossing — but never journeyed past the checkpoint. Earlier, campaign aides confirmed reports that Palin’s time in Ireland on that trip had actually been a refueling stop.
And Palin didn’t include Ireland as part of her foreign travel in her answer to Gibson. Keep looking, CNN. Perhaps you will find out that Sarah Palin once visited Colonel Lee’s Mongolian BBQ. You can also make that a scandal even though Palin never claimed to have visited Mongolia. Of course, the Obama campaign, sinking in the polls, is so desperate for any bit of dirt they can manufacture about Palin jumped on this “scandal” like a starving piranha on red meat:
The Obama campaign — which has increasingly accused the McCain campaign of deliberately lying in ads and on the stump — was quick to highlight that story, along with a news report that explored whether the McCain campaign has been sending out wildly inflated crowd estimates.
Yes, yes. Maybe we can find that the McCain campaign estimated one of its crowds at 10,000 people when reliable sources put it at no higher than 9900. Bring on the investigators! With “scandal” stories such as these, you just know that Obama and his MSM allies are really grasping at straws. However, their pathetic desperation to turn absolutely anything, even if doesn’t exist, into a scandal does provide for a lot of laughs.
Psst! MSM…check to see if Sarah Palin ever illegally ripped a tag off her mattress in the past. There could be a major scandal there.

This is a perfect example of our #2 having more balls than their #1. And a perfect example of the basic difference between conservatives and liberals.
