The big “green Jobs” lie bites us yet again…
When will someone tell him he works for us? He has no respect for the office of POTUS.
A Gridiron Club member tells FBDC first that President Obama will not attend this year’s dinner next Saturday, March 21st. He will be the first president since Grover Cleveland not to attend the first Gridiron Club Dinner of his presidency.
This year’s date coincides with the spring break of President Obama’s daughters’ school and club members have been informed the Obama family will be out of town, likely in Chicago.
Vice President Joe Biden will attend and speak at the dinner in his place. This member tells us the club is delighted to have Vice President Biden, but that there will be some very disappointed guests.
Each year the dinner includes satirical musical skits choreographed by the members, and remarks by the president and various members of each party. President Obama spoke as a Senator at the March 2006 dinner.
The Gridiron Club was founded in 1885 and this year will be the 124th dinner. Membership is by invitation only and its 65 members include the most prestigious journalists in Washington. Source
Not very cool Barry. We, er, uh, THEY, hired you to work every day for the next four years 24 hours a day as needed. That means following traditions. You’ve already screwed up with Britian. Get a clue about what the job is really about. What the hell are you doing taking every weekend off, having parties during the week, while the country is falling apart? Your family does NOT come before your country. You signed up for this job, now do it! You’ve failed miserably so far.
Oh yeah, and sending Joe “the goof” Biden only adds insult to injury.

Joe “the gaffe” Biden is at it again. In this case we can call him Joe “the genius” Biden for his latest claim that there are moderate Taliban that we should seek out and talk to.
5% incorrigible, 25% undecided and 70% capitalists. So according to Joe, only 5% of the Taliban are radicals and the rest just need a little understanding. Must be nice in his little world, all unicorns and butterflies. Meanwhile, back in the real world….
KABUL (Reuters) – Afghanistan’s Taliban on Tuesday turned down as illogical U.S. President Barack Obama’s bid to reach out to moderate elements of the insurgents, saying the exit of foreign troops was the only solution for ending the war.
Obama, in an interview with the New York Times, expressed an openness to adapting tactics in Afghanistan that had been used in Iraq to reach out to moderate elements there.
“This does not require any response or reaction for this is illogical,” Qari Mohammad Yousuf, a purported spokesman for the insurgent group, told Reuters when asked if its top leader Mullah Mohammad Omar would make any comment about Obama’s proposal.
“The Taliban are united, have one leader, one aim, one policy…I do not know why they are talking about moderate Taliban and what it means?”
“If it means those who are not fighting and are sitting in their homes, then talking to them is meaningless. This really is surprising the Taliban.” Source
Mr. Obama. If you have an original thought in your head, you will put Uncle Joe back in the basement where he can’t hurt anyone and can let that big genius sized brain of his have a rest. His advice is not helping you look any better to the rest of the world. The Taliban are laughing at you. They didn’t find President Bush so funny.
H/T Gateway Pundit.
Watch the video to see Vice President Joe “The Gaffe” Biden say that even if they get everything they want, they will still be wrong about a third of the time. And notice how David Axelrod sidesteps the question from Wolf Blitzer and gives the democratic talking points for the day. I first saw Obama’s press secretary Robert Gibbs use the exact same words this morning to dodge a question from the press. Axelrod even takes it one step further by taking the quote out of context. Here’s the video and the quote.
The president and I were talking about something yesterday in the Oval Office — which, to the press here, I’ll not suggest what it was — but the response was to the folks that were in the office with us — was, you know, if we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, we stand up there and we make really tough decisions, there’s still a 30-percent chance we’re going to get it wrong. You, too. You, too. Because I can’t think of a time, as a student of history — and I’ve participated in this business as long as almost anybody but my chairman from Michigan. I think I’ve been here — not a lot of you have served more than 36 years. TWS
Nowhere in that video does he say he’s talking about the stimulus bill. In fact it’s just the opposite, he says he won’t disclose what they were talking about. Again, watch Axelrod evade the question with the democrat talking points.
Hope & Change? Well there’s certainly no Hope if the new administration is going to be wrong a third of the time. And as for Change, just listen to Axelrod pull the same old democratic bullsh!t of changing the subject.
Joe Biden…..the gift that just keeps giving. This time though, I think he pissed off the boss.
Given Biden’s natural stupidity and over abundance of arrogance, it would behove Barry to get rid of Joe. At least put him back in the basement for awhile.
(not that I want him gone. this is too much fun)
WASHINGTON — Sarah Palin’s doctor in Alaska says she’s in excellent health with no known health issues that would interfere with her ability to function as vice president if she and Republican John McCain are elected Tuesday.
McCain’s campaign released a summary of Palin’s medical history Monday night.
Palin’s personal family physician, Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, says if Palin has only been hospitalized for childbirth. Palin is 44 and has five children. She gave birth to her fifth child, son Trig, earlier this year.
Palin had a breast biopsy in 1992 for what turned out to be a benign lesion. Her vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse, have been normal.
The doctor also said Palin takes no routine prescription medications and exercises regularly.
Also today, in a bizarre appearance in Lee’s Summit, MO. Biden continues to show why he won’t release his medical records.
Biden called his sister a “girl-boy,” meaning a tomboy, and then explained that girl-boys are softer than “girl-girls.”
“You know why I think Jill likes Claire McCaskill so well, Senator McCaskill? Jill is one of five sisters, Claire is one of three sisters. And I tell you what, you women raised with sisters are different than women raised with brothers,” Biden said as both women joined him on stage.
“My sister is smart, runs every one of my campaigns; is beautiful; graduated with honors from college; is homecoming queen. But she’s a … she is what I call a ‘girl-boy’ growing up, you know what I mean?”
“And I tell you what? Girl-girls are tougher than girl-boys,” he said. “But there’s one important thing I noticed. The great thing about marrying into a family with five sisters, there’s always one that loves you. ‘Cause you can count on splitting them a bit. You know what I mean?
“I shouldn’t be going off like this, but — hey, folks, 37 more hours, 37 more hours,” he then said. Source
And they say Sarah is not ready for the VP spot……..
Michelle has more on Smirky.
From the New York Post. And in case you don’t know Kirsten, she doesn’t usually defend “the right”.

Barack Obama‘s choice of Joe Biden as his running mate prompted a small wave of warnings about Biden’s propensity for gaffes. But no one imagined even in a worse-case scenario such a spectacular bomb as telling donors Sunday to “gird your loins” because a young president Obama will be tested by an international crisis just like young President John Kennedy was.
Scary? You betcha! But somehow, not front-page news.
Again the media showed their incredible bias by giving scattered coverage of Biden’s statements.
There were a few exceptions. On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski flipped incredulously through the papers, expressing shock at the lack of coverage of Biden’s remarks. Guest Dan Rather admitted that if Palin had said it, the media would be going nuts.
So what gives?
The stock answer is: “It’s just Biden being Biden.” We all know how smart he is about foreign policy, so it’s not the same as when Sarah Palin says something that seems off.
Yet, when Biden asserted incorrectly in the vice-presidential debate that the United States “drove Hezbollah out of Lebanon,” nobody in the US media shrieked. (It was, however, covered with derision in the Middle East.) Or when he confused his history by claiming FDR calmed the nation during the Depression by going on TV, the press didn’t take it as evidence that he’s clueless.
And Biden is the foreign-policy gravitas on the Democratic ticket, so his comments are actually even more disconcerting.

I hope they let Joe loose to speak his mind every day. This is pure gold.
“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”
In his own words. Listen to this. !!!UPDATE!!! Also, Dan Rather Jumps out of Obama’s tank!!!
Wait! There’s More.
“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”
“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”
There’s not much to add to that. He just gave you the MAIN REASON for voting McCain/Palin! Keep talkin’ Joe!
Michelle Malkin has it too.
Biden: (at 0:18) “The fact of the matter is, the only thing succeeding in Iraq right now is the plan that Barack and I talked about that Petraeus is implementing — giving local control in the very areas with a limited central government.”
Oh really? Must have been talking amongst themselves. RedState has more.
