    Just sent two lil’ grandsons home. They were here for grilled pork roast, corn on the cob, yams, baked beans, hot dogs, etc.

    Time to go collapse in exhaustion.

    Had to go into town to watch the fireworks. Then I had to go out in the pasture and and convince the sheep and horses that boogers weren’t after ‘em with noise and lights. (The neighbors always have a really great illegal fireworks display.)

    Yep, the Firecracker 400 it will always be. I am not happy with the renaming of famous racing events for profit. They could call it the Firecracker 400 presented by …. and It would make everybody happy. Same thing with the World 600, and, well, you get the idea.

    Animals don’t quite get the idea of fireworks do they?
